30 Days: Starts This Week

30 Days: Starts This Week

Saturday is November 1, the kickoff to the 2014 edition of the 30 Days farm blogging series! Are you in?

Inexplicably, October has sailed by in a flurry of bean dust and corn chaff. This is the last week of the month, which means November 1 is Saturday, which means the 2014 edition of 30 Days of Agriculture is about to begin.

I've already heard from so many of you who plan to blog your own 30 Days series, and let me just say: you all are a creative bunch. There are some great ideas out there, and I can't wait to start sharing them. I'll be announcing my series on Saturday, November 1, and will include links to everyone who's blogging along with their own series. There are some really great agricultural blogs out there and I hope you'll check them out. We shall not lack for good things to read in November, for sure.

This is the fifth year I've done a 30 Days series in November. If you're curious or want a look at the general format, check these links:

In the meantime, if you're on the fence about blogging, take this week to brainstorm some ideas. And if you'd like to join in, email me with these three items by October 31:

  • Name of your blog
  • Name of your series
  • Link to your introductory post
