Private exporters reported the export sales of 4.72 million bushels of 2014/2015 corn to unknown destinations, USDA said on Thursday.

The marketing year for corn began Sept. 1.

Year-to-date outstanding corn sales to unknown destinations totaled 136.85 million bushels as of Oct. 2, down from 152.67 million a year earlier.

The sale was reported under USDA's daily export sales reporting system.   Exporters are required to report to USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 tons or more of one commodity made in one day.
