Volatility and extreme fear: A good time to make sales?

As planters are rolling, growers also must figure out how to manage risk management decisions in the time of COVID-10. Ag View Pitch offers some insight.

Not because they are good sales but driven by fear that they will get even worse.

There are real philosophical questions you must ask yourself: Are times of price volatility and extreme fear/negativity a good time to make sales? There is a time to buy and a time to sell, but is there also a time to take no action, choosing to wait for a different time to make a decision? Is a proactive decision to 'not decide' a legitimate decision, possibly a wise decision/ Frustration abounds in agriculture at this time and sometimes frustration can abound in a podcast on agriculture.
