$9,550 per acre for Moody County, S.D., land

Approximately 249 acres of farmland in Moody County, S.D., sold in two tracts at an auction in October. The parcels sold for $8,900 and $9,550 per acre.

This property has some “high caliber cropland and locations that potentially could provide some superb locations for establishment of a rural acreage home site or sites in accordance with Moody County zoning.,” according to the sale bill. Badlands ranch brings $2,613 per acre

“A remarkable property with expansive meadows, stunningly beautiful buttes and treelined-valleys on the eastern edge of the North Dakota Badlands,” according to the sale bill, sold in two parcels at an auction in October for $2,446 and $2,613 per acre.

The sale included a ranch headquarters with a multipurpose building with living quarters, shop and tack room. Century farm sold

A Kingsbury County, S.D., century farm — one that had been in the same family for more than 100 years — sold at an auction in October. One parcel near Lake Preston, consisting of 148 acres with a high percentage of tillable acres and a Surety AgriData productivity index of 72.8, sold for $3,500 per acre.

The second tract of 160 acres sold for $4.050 per acre. It has 125 tillable acres. The rest is in waterways, trees and roads. Rents set in online auction

Cash rents for land in Spink County, S.D., were inked in a recent online auction. The land was offered in six tracts.

Northern North Dakota CRP

A quarter of ground in Rolette County, N.D., scheduled to come out of the Conservation Reserve Program in September, sold for $650 per acre at an auction.
