Organizers of the big show in Hanover, Germany, brought smart farming to life by making room for startups of all kinds at the show. An earlier gallery — Diving into innovation at Agritechnica — shared a look at a range of those startups.

This slideshow offers a look at more of what was on hand at the show, including everything from robots to a hydrogen-powered engine. Agriculture has drawn wide-ranging attention in the last decade as entrepreneurs see opportunity in the challenges farmers will face for the future.
