“Tim and staff writer Todd Fitchette will make a good team to cover this important geography for the Farm Press/Farm Progress group,” Smith adds.

“I’ve developed great relationships with the growers, farm advisors and others in California’s agriculture-related industries over the past few years, and I’m glad to be able to continue to work with them,” Hearden says. “I’m honored that Western Farm Press has given me this position, and I look forward to being part of the Farm Press/Farm Progress family.”
