The 2023 Blackland Farm Managers Tour will be Aug. 2 at Middle Creek Farms in Engelhard, N.C.

The Blackland Farm Managers Tour is the largest field day in North Carolina and is held the first Wednesday of August each year. Rob Sharkey, known as “the Shark Farmer,” will be the special guest at the tour.

The field day begins with registration at and a sponsored  breakfast at 7:00 a.m. with opening remarks  at 8:30 a.m. Wagons depart for field tours at 8:45 a.m.  Middle Creek Farms is located at 396 White Plains Road, Engelhard, N.C 27824.

North Carolina State Extension specialists will cover the latest corn and soybean production information. The field day concludes with a sponsored lunch. Pesticide and CCA credits will be available.
