Lawson Connor is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness at the University of Arkansas with research and extension appointments in crop production economics. Lawson received his Bachelor’s degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota and his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from North Carolina State University. He also did post-doctoral work at the Ohio State University. His research focuses on the intersection of farm risk management and farm finance, including biotechnology, crop insurance, farm financial resilience and conservation practices in agriculture.
