Mark Stock, Co-founder/Owner, BigIron Auctions, joins Max in the studio to wrap up 2023 in sales of farm equipment and farmland, as well as looking ahead. Mark shares the differences in sales of 2023 compared to 2022. Online auction sales have grown due to 2020.

Mark returns to talk more about the sales process by BigIron representatives. The uniqueness of online auctions is that equipment will move on average of 305 miles from the auction location, so most sales will rely on the pictures and videos provided by the BigIron representatives. Representatives have a wealth of knowledge on the equipment and are a valuable tool to the farmers selling and buying online.

Maverick Woodside, Director of Auction Services, BigIron Auctions, joins Max to talk about how an individual prepares for a sale and how the BigIron representatives work with the seller. Maverick shares the process and detailing the equipment. BigIron will also do a public inspection to view the equipment and to get the sellers story on the equipment to give the most information on the equipment. Maverick states that relationships are built with sellers throughout the process.

Cody Holst, Regional Ag Sales Manager, BigIron Auctions shares how fall sales went in his area and upcoming auctions for the spring.

Kolby Henness, District Ag Sales Manager, BigIron Auctions shares upcoming auctions in Illinois.
