Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson kick off the show with a chat with Greg Soulje as they ponder what August holds in store. Orion and Max interview the AFBF’s Paul Schlegel about happening in congress. Patrick Haggarty reports on an executive order from President Trump relaxing approval standards around ag products. Greg Grow of Archer Financial Services joins Max and Orion to talk about the upcoming August USDA report

Part 2

Greg Grow of Archer Financial Services rejoins Max and Orion to talk about the export markets and the continuing trade war’s impact paired with more international competition for U.S. farmers. Chad Colby in the Colby Ag Tech segment reports on aviation maintenance and how it relates to ag equipment.  Jennifer Fahy of Farm Aid gives Max the update on this year’s show, set for Sept 21 in Troy, Wisconsin.

Part 3

Max and Orion hear again from Chad Colby reporting from the World Ag Expo in California where he saw the latest tree shakers for nut harvesting. Max interviews Mark Berkel about his collection of John Deere antiques.

Part 4

Max and Orion introduce a report from Delaney Howell on succession planning and how one group is helping young farmers succeed. Farm Bureau’s Ken Culp talked with Max about how millennials are transforming the bureau. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje joins Max and Orion to look at the forecast for the week ahead.

Part 6

In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max introduces a 1950 Farmall M owned by Ken and Myrna Jones of Potsville, Iowa. This tractor has never left the family farm. Orion Samuelson introduces Halls FFA in Halls, Tennessee, where they offer a variety of courses and a greenhouse. Member Cassie Lewis talks about their program supporting local veterans. In Samuelson Sez, Orion is taking on PETA who has been causing trouble and releasing animals at local fairs.

Part 7

 Max and Orion tell you how to get the new 3-day pass at the Farm Progress Show.  Then we get to take a look at the Big Boy, a huge train making the rounds.
