The distinctive slope of the new Massey Ferguson 5450 tractor hood makes it clear that this model is all about loader work. The hood of the new mid-range tractor dips lower than the bucket line to offer an exceptional view from the operator’s seat inside the cab. AGCO reports that there are no blind spots anywhere on this tractor.

The new MF 5450 with 75 PTO hp features a left-hand power control on the steering column for easy shuttling, powershift changes and fingertip declutching. The model includes a standard economy PTO to allow a 23% reduction in engine speed when handling light loads and still maintaining a 540-rpm shaft speed. The tractor is powered with a Perkins turbocharged engine. The standard 16 x 16 Dyna-4 transmission with super creeper option helps the tractor handle most jobs around the farm — from hay work to cleaning a feedlot.

List price starts at $55,000 for the 2-wd loader and $62,000 for the 4-wd. For more information, visit www.masseyferguson.com.
