Blue Diamond Growers has recovered or is recovering all of the 347,650 pounds of almonds the company voluntarily recalled earlier this month, the company says.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced recently that the California-based company initiated the recall after an internal sampling was positive for salmonella on the implicated lots, Scripps Media reported.

The recall affected certain batches of whole brown almonds intended exclusively for industrial ingredient manufacturing, Blue Diamond said on its website.

The company added that 100% of the product identified for recall has been recovered or is in the process of being recovered. No Blue Diamond/Almond Breeze branded snack nuts, almond milk, or other almond products were involved with the recall, and the products that retailers and consumers have are safe to consume, the company stated.
