As trade shows go, the Consumer Electronics Show — now more well known as CES — carries a wide range of products. The 4,500 exhibitors cover such a wide range of products that it’s difficult to pull it all together. The first gallery covering CES 2019 looked at drone technology and a range of tech on hand for visitors.
In this installment, we share a wide range of the more different items we found. For the tech nerds among our readers, these items may get your attention for their unique nature. From foldable screens to water from the air, CES shares an amazing atmosphere of innovation and creates the impression that all things are possible.
Check out this round of items from the show as we continue our coverage. What you see here are items that stood out for a first-time visitor. One area of interest is the rise of augmented reality. We’ve covered it in the past with work at Agco using Google’s Glass technology. It’s a way to have information you need immediately available; and while the screens are still dark and the glasses a little bulky, companies are making progress.
A trip to CES also brings a lot of monitors. Screens that are bigger than you thought possible, and this year, the advent of 8K definition — a significant step up from 4K — were in every TV exhibit. We don’t show that here because there’s no way to do it justice; instead, consider checking out a demo when these machines show up at your local retailer.
So, check out these unique finds from CES. In the next gallery, the aim is to show some products that farmers might find practical.
