High school FFA clubs have been invited to attend the first day of this year’s FIRA USA gathering in Salinas, Calif., for free.

The ag-tech demonstration event will be held Sept. 19-21 at the Salinas Sports Complex. The first day’s schedule includes a workshop on artificial intelligence, an “automation for precision climate-smart agriculture” panel discussion and an “ag robotics career” panel discussion, according to sponsor Western Growers.

The day will conclude with a wrap-up session that will highlight specific activities related to ag-tech, according to the organization.
