If it seems like we just had the 2017 3i Show, and now the 2018 show is already upon us. No, you are not imagining things.

The show is moving back to spring dates this year, March 22-24, after trying summer and fall dates that proved less popular than the traditional early spring dates.

Western Kansas Manufacturers Association CEO Eddie Estes says a survey of exhibitors and visitors showed that most people would prefer an early spring show.

The 3i Show has been a charter member of the Farm Show Council since 1972. The organization is comprised of the top 30 farm shows in North America, with a goal of promoting and developing its member shows to ensure increased efficiency and effectiveness for exhibitors and visitors. 

The show has grown from a traveling exhibit called the Western Kansas Karavan that first began in 1950 with WKMA members loading their products on trucks and making a one-night stay in various Kansas towns. Produced by WKMA, the 3i Show is now the largest free exposition of its kind in Kansas.

WKMA members are entitled to first choice of the exhibit space. Remaining spaces are sold to exhibitors from all over the world who are eager to participate in this annual event. The 3i Show is always a sellout, and thousands of spectators from the Midwest are attracted to the show.
There will be plenty of outdoor space for exhibits of the latest in farm machinery and implements at the permanent show grounds at the Western Bank Expo Center in Dodge City, Kan. Indoors, there will be booths for products and educational seminars of use to the industry of agriculture, as well as plenty of vendors offering products for the farm and the farm home. Show hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 22 and March 23, and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 24. Admission and parking are free.

Golf cart rentals are available for outdoor show transportation. In addition, wheelchairs donated by Western Plains Medical Center will be available for checkout at the 3i hats/buckles table in the Western State Bank Expo building for those who need assistance getting around the inside exhibits.

There will be a variety of food concessions on the show grounds and all concessions accept credit cards. The Pizza Hut booth inside the Expo building and The Smoke House at Outdoor Booth 75 are open for breakfast each day of the show.
