A Rifle Tribute To America's Farmers

A Rifle Tribute To America's Farmers

Special edition 22-caliber Henry rifle salutes America's farmers for feeding the world.

Henry Repeating Arms has designed a special "American Farmer Tribute" edition of its Golden Boy lever-action rifle. No, you wouldn't go buck, bear or turkey hunting with it.

But you might take this 22-caliber gun out for small game. Even on your gun rack, it's certain to draw appreciation just for what it stands for.

The special edition arose out of Anthony Imperato's travels through rural America. "I've been fortunate to see the incredible work ethic of the American farmer," explains the president of Henry Repeating Arm. "I'm humbled by their spirit and resilience, and thank them for all they do to feed our country and the world."

The first thing you'll note when unwrapping the Model H004AF is the bright engraved scrollwork on nickel-plated cover with washed 24 kt. gold images on each side. It ties together the American walnut stock with its carved rural image and brass plate butt and the 20-inch blued octagonal-shaped barrel.

The 38½-inch long rifle weighs in at a well-balanced 6¾ pounds. Its smooth and easy lever-action takes the clumsiness out of firing 16 long or 21 short rounds, all in one loading.

One receiver panel of the plate cover features the words "American Farmers Feeding the World" engraved in 24-karet gold. The other side has an engraved image is of a farmer working a field behind his horse-drawn plow with a barn in the background. That one, too, is in washed gold.

This all American-made H004AF is available through licensed Henry dealers at a suggested retail price of $1,020. Click through the pictures for more details. Catch a listing of nearby dealerships on the website at  or call 201-858-4400.
