Corn, wheat markets higher despite better weather forecasts. (audio)

Soybean futures are up about 9 cents at midday to lead the crop markets higher. Rain in northern Argentina has damaged some of that crop and more rain is forecast during the next week. Wheat futures are higher despite forecasts for beneficial rain this weekend in the dry areas of the central and southern U.S. Plains.
