Soybean futures are lower near midday on Thursday after USDA’s weekly report showed lower-than-expected export sales for both old- and new-crop soybeans.
Export sales were mostly neutral for corn and supportive to wheat.
A few dry days are forecast for late this week in the Midwest, but the 6- to 10-day outlook (May 17-21) favors more wet conditions for the region.
