Grain futures are mixed to mostly lower this morning. Corn and soybeans saw follow through selling overnight after USDA reported good planting progress, with corn ratings off to a good start. Forecasts for drier conditions over the next couple of weeks could help farmers catch up in wet states, with no heat in the outlook yet to cause trouble. Outside markets are another matter, however, with weak manufacturing data in Europe and China pressing stocks mostly lower overnight, taking crude oil lower too.
