Bullish export sales report lifts crop markets

Corn exports post a marketing-year high. (audio)

Bullish weekly export sales lifted the corn, soybean and wheat markets on Thursday, with new-crop sales of all three crops beating trade forecasts. Troubles with South American crops and worries about La Nina-induced weather problems this summer appears to have turned buyers to the United States.
