Mississippi Peanut Growers Association elects Joe Morgan

The Mississippi Peanut Growers Association has elected Joe Morgan to head the organization for 2015. He is a producer at Hattiesburg, Miss.

Joe Morgan, Hattiesburg, Miss., producer, will lead the Mississippi Peanut Growers Association as president for 2015. He was elected at the group’s annual meeting.​

Serving with him is Lonnie Fortner, Port Gibson, district 2 vice president; Alan Atkins, Hamilton, Miss., district 3 vice president; Daniel Parrish, Greenwood, district 4 vice president.

Corley Moses, Greenwood, will serve at large for position A; Bernard Jones, Ridgeland, will serve position B; and Steve Seward, Lucedale, will serve position C.
