Max Armstrong tells us about the best places to live for new graduates, the latest on the pork industry, fruit growers woes and the number one injury reported at the CMA Fest in Nashville.

Max Armstrong shares a new survey out that shows where the best jobs may be for new graduates. The cities that have the best job opportunities include Des Moines, Iowa and Madison, Wisc. They are at the top of the list for the best places to live, not be a big city, are affordable, low unemployment rates and great salaries.

Foreign pork producers are eyeing up the California pork markets. At the World Pork Producers Expo this week, all eyes and discussions are now on California due to law changes there. Foreign pork producers are moving into the market because they can comply with the new standards. The state of California is responsible for 15 percent of the pork consumption in the USA.

And fruit growers in Michigan and Ohio are concerned about the wildfire smoke coming from Canada. The growers are concerned about how the smoke will impact the fruit. Fruit growers are reaching out to California fruit growers because of their experience with wildfires there.

And speaking of fires, many residents in Moline, Ill. were evacuated after a propane gas facility went up in flames.

Plus, many first aiders and emergency workers will be working this weekend at the CMA Festival in Nashville. However, the number one injury won't be heat exhaustion like many would think. Instead it will be blisters from new boots. Anyone attending is being reminded to wear their new boots prior to attending the festival.
