Two bills have been introduced in the House of Representatives. Bills that address their needs in the next farm bill.

Cost share program to help producers more competitive with labor shortages by making automation more accessible.

The second bill called the Specialty Crop Domestic Market Promotion and Development Act would establish a new program to help promote ag products here in the USA.

The idea is to help develop and promote markets and make producers more competitive.

Another priority in the legislation is to double the funding for the market access program due to trade disruptions over the past few years. It would be the first increase in funding since 2006.
