Grain markets are mixed this morning after getting an initial lift Sunday night on optimism the U.S. and China may be on track to hammer out an end to their trade dispute by as early as the end of March. While traders pondered the prospects, farmers are dealing with a forecast that looks wet for much of the Plains and Midwest over the next two weeks, which could limit early fieldwork following a wet, cold winter.
