At a recent field day on a farm near Rochester, Minn., hosted by West Central Distribution, we heard the latest on its LIFT2 program (Leaders of In-Furrow/Foliar Technology). A day of presentations at this CHS Innovation Trial location highlighted recent developments with in-furrow and foliar technology from West Central and LIFT2 partners: Climate Corp., Dow, BASF, FMC, Nufarm and CHS. (Will review this information in Part II coming soon).

The keynote speaker was University of Illinois plant physiologist Fred Below, famous for his “7 wonders of the corn (and soybean) yield world” philosophy, backed by intensive research.

His talk on this day was focused on corn, titled: “Pulling it all together for high yields.” Check out this gallery of great information from Dr. Below.
