Deere Adds to Its Compact Utility Line

John Deere's 2000 TWENTY Series has a new member in the 2720 just released, making the line 16 models in all.

The 2720 is a 30.5 horsepower machine powered with a Yanmar diesel engine that meets EPA Tier II standards, and comes with standard four-wheel drive and the ability to use a host of optional mower decks and other accessories.

Based on Deere's small-chassis design, the 2720 offers the highest power-to-weight ratio in its class. Standard equipment also includes a folding ROPS, cruise control, mid-powertakeoff, OnRamp mid-mower deck, and steering brakes. Options include iMatch Quick Hitch for easy attachment use and an independent lift system for the mid-mower deck.

Other amenities include a high-back suspended seat, ergonomic controls and two-pedal foot controls of the hydrostatic transmission.

NEW CUT: The new 2720 compact utility tractor from John Deere is the 16th model of the company's 2000 TWENTY series. The new machine is rated at 30.5 hp and is powered with a Yanmar diesel engine.
