International Agri-Center (IAC) is proud to announce that the Fresno City & County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has partnered with the IAC as the Hospitality Resource Partner of 2011 World Ag Expo (WAE).



“Each year in February, thousands of World Ag Expo exhibitors and attendees’ touch down in Fresno from flights originating from all over the world,” said Jerry Sinift, IAC CEO. “Our exhibitors and attendees are extremely important to our success and we feel very strongly that they need be warmly welcomed to our valley. When they arrive in the Central Valley we want to be sure that they have the most positive experience possible.”



“The partnership ensures that World Ag Expo exhibitors and attendees, landing in Fresno, will be greeted with an abundance of hospitality,” said Layla Forstedt, CEO, Fresno CVB. “We are thrilled that the Fresno CVB member hotels, restaurants, entertainment outlets, airlines, and ground transportation members have agreed to provide World Ag Expo exhibitors and attendees with exclusive special rates and discounts.”



The Fresno CVB has made arrangements with Yosemite & Beyond (Y&B) to facilitate Park and Ride satellite shuttles from Fashion Fair Mall in Fresno and Sierra Vista Mall in Clovis. The shuttles will drop our visitors off directly at the expo entrance gate. World Ag Expo exhibitors and attendees may choose to enhance their experience by scheduling a Y&B premium tour pre or post expo to Yosemite National Park or an array of many other attractions in central California. Round trip tours cost $25 per day, or $60 for a three day pass.

The 44th annual World Ag Expo 2011, Tools for Agri-Business, will run Feb. 8–10 at the International Agri-Center show grounds in Tulare, Calif. An estimated annual average of 100,000 attendees from 72 countries are expected to attend World Ag Expo this year. The expo is the largest annual agricultural show of its kind with 1,600 exhibitors displaying cutting-edge agricultural technology and equipment on 2.6 million square feet of show grounds.



Online attendee registration is now available at worldagexpo.com. Those who register online will save time at the gate and will be automatically entered to win registration prizes. World Ag Expo tickets are $12 online.
