Antique Farm Equipment Show opens today

Gates open at 8 a.m. today for the three-day, 17th Annual California Antique Farm Equipment Show at the International Agri-Center, Tulare, Calif.

Hours are Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sunday 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Almost 800 exhibitors from the Western states exhibiting antique tractors and farm equipment will be on hand.

Saturday night’s entertainment will feature Jerry D. Hobbs and the Country Rhythm Makers. Doors open for the barbecue dinner and entertainment at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets for the concert and barbecue dinner are $30 (show admission not included). Barbecues light up at 10 a.m. on Sunday for the 7th Annual Rib Cook-Off. Judging starts at 2 p.m. More than $3,500 in cash prizes will be awarded in two categories — beef and pork ribs.

Tickets are $8 per day and a combination pass can be purchased for Friday and Saturday for $12.
