From tools to apply fertilizer precisely to fertilizer products with unique properties, several new entries hit the market recently or will be available soon. Farm Progress editors found more than a dozen of these new products at fall farm shows.

Some of you may still be applying fertilizer now. Others will likely be planning for spring applications. There are products and equipment to fit both scenarios. Take a look at the products offered here. Use the contact information provided to follow up on the items that interest you most. Here is a sneak peek at a few of these products:

FL-24 field loader. If you’re serious about moving lots of fertilizer from a tender truck or fertilizer pile into your spreader, check out the FL-24 Portable Field Loader from Adams Fertilizer Equipment. Equipped with a 24-inch-wide belt, it can move 3,000 pounds of product per minute. Stay out of the dust with a conveniently located operator station.

Anhydrous ammonia trailer. Duo Lift introduces the LB1-TXLB anhydrous wagon, built to handle the weight at the speeds these trailers operate. Holes for mounting tanks onto the frame are pre-drilled from the factory. Steps are located so you can reach valves quickly, safely and easily. If you need a durable tank carrier, this is one to consider.

Dry fertilizer spreader. Unverferth introduces Pro-Force dry spreaders with a new undercarriage option. These lower-hopper profile models can be equipped with in-line walking tandems. New undercarriages are designed to improve flotation. You will also appreciate one-point greasing.
