COME SEE THE LATEST: Titan will feature this Big Bud tractor and more at the 2023 Farm Progress Show.Titan

The first new Big Bud tractor in 40 years will park at Titan’s booth at this year’s Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Ill. The company invites you to see the Big Bud 700 and its tires — the Goodyear Optitrac Low Sidewall — produced by Titan.

“We’ve got a 640-hp tractor with a CAT drivetrain that’s easily accessible for a farmer to work on,” says Ron Harmon, owner of Big Equipment Co., maker of Big Bud. “But all that doesn’t do any good if we can’t get power to the ground. That’s why we’ve selected LSW tires as the primary tire we recommend people use on our tractors.”

Harmon will be in the Titan booth all three days of the show to answer questions. A formal meet-and-greet is slated for 1 p.m. Aug. 29.

As the Farm Progress Show official wristband sponsor, Titan will offer $200 off the purchase of $1,000 or more to showgoers. Plus, stop by to enter a daily prize of $2,500 in rebates toward the purchase of Titan or Goodyear Farm Tire products.

More ag stars

Titan says other ag social media stars will be at its booth. Here is a rundown as of press time. Times and availability could change:

Welker Farms. This farm family will bring Big Brute, their custom sprayer built to resemble a Series 3 Big Bud tractor. It was recently upgraded with Goodyear Optitorque R-1 tires. The Welkers will appear at the Case IH display, but they will make at least one appearance at the Titan booth each day.

Brian’s Farming Videos. Brian Brown will park his Fendt 1038 with Goodyear Optitrac LSW1400/30R46 and LSW1000/45R32 tires at the Titan booth. He will host a meet-and-greet at 1 p.m. Aug. 30.

Cole the Cornstar. He will be alongside his Case Magnum 340 at the Titan booth at 1 p.m. Aug. 30 as well for a meet-and-greet. He’s expected to be in the booth all three days. His tractor is equipped with the world’s largest farm tires — the Goodyear Optitrac LSW1400/30R46.

Farm Fit Momma. Representing Farm Fit Training, Amanda Nigg will host kid-friendly activities all three days of the show.

Supporting FFA

These activities at the Titan exhibit will raise money for FFA:

  • Sales of Big Bud T-shirts will benefit Indiana and Illinois FFA.

  • Farm Fit Training and Titan will raffle off a prize package worth $5,000, with 100% of ticket sales donated to the National FFA.

  • All proceeds from donated items will go to Indiana and Illinois FFA.

  • Any donation to the Indiana or Illinois FFA will earn you a game of cornhole with Cole the Cornstar.
