I recently read your article titled “Walz administration takes gas pitch on road.” It would be nice if your magazine would sometimes dive into subjects much deeper than you do and not be so one-sided. Seriously, I have never read anywhere in these farm magazines one single THANK YOU to President Trump for the additional $1.65 per bushel for soybeans when the market was down in 2018!

Really most people in this country are so tired of the media trying to run our thoughts for us, believe it or not we can think for ourselves it is just a matter of “finding” the information these days since the media tries to hide everything that is conservative! We only hear the liberals’ thoughts! We are the fifth-highest state for income taxes! I do not believe in “paying my fair share” as that is a communist ideology as is minimum wage!

Nobody wants to be sucked dry for taxes in this state it is just that we the people that live here never seem to get a choice in the matter! We have a few people called legislators that just decide for us that we should pay more, they pass the law and we don’t have any more say! Taxes never seem to go down in this state.

If Gov. Walz is so bent on coming up with more money to pay for roads and bridges and any other projects then I suggest that he and our legislators go read “The Impact of Illegal Immigration on Minnesota: costs and population trends,” if it is still available online. Our media seems to delete things they don’t want people to know about. At the time of this report there were an estimated 80,000 to 85,000 illegals living here Dec. 8, 2005. If you go look up the Pew Research Centers report as of today, they estimate that number to be around 95,000! So, you can figure that the numbers I present here would be much higher.

As of 2005, Minnesota taxpayers were forced to pay out $146-$158 million (for FY 2004) for K-12 public education, $17 million (FY 2005) in public assistance health care programs, $13 million (FY 2005) for incarceration cost, with a grand total of $176 million to 188 million! So, if Gov. Walz needs money to pay for roads and bridges maybe he should start by doing his job first and relieving all of us taxpayers here in Minnesota of all these people who have committed a crime by crossing into our country ILLEGALLY and then forcing us to take care of them! But this is his voter base, so he won’t move even one of them out of here because that would be one less vote!

It is too bad these days that politicians don’t have the guts to stand on their own merit. The voter base that is tired of this business is greater than all the illegals that are presently living here! We don’t want to pay anymore in taxes of any kind! Maybe Gov. Walz need to invest in a new bicycle then he can start using all those worthless bike path! Try riding your bike in the middle of a Minnesota winter or 40 miles to the next town! Talk about a waste of our money too!

Thank you for supporting FFA

Thank you so much for your support of the agriculture communications proficiency award. I was the state runner-up in this proficiency area.

My proficiency consists of writing newsletters, running my chapter’s social media platforms and speaking on the local radio stations. I also write for my school and hometown newspapers.

I worked very hard to be at this level and I am glad that my hard work is paying off.

Thank you again for your support of the FFA and the members.
