May has flown by as farmers have been busy in the fields. Hopefully, everyone had a chance on May 25, Memorial Day, to pause and reflect on what the holiday is all about. It's easy to overlook the holiday nestled in the middle of May, but the holiday calls us to remember and honor the brave men and women who lost their lives while serving their country.
