Max Armstrong says more farmers are trying to conserve irrigation water. Andy and LaVell Winsor in Kansas are installing the final phase of a drip tape project. The benefits offered by using water at the root zone is efficient, says LaVell. The couple is fortunate to have water permits and creek water rights, and don't use the Ogallala Aquifer.
