A popular option for 2012 Featherlite stock trailers is Rumber flooring. The Rumber floor serves as a cushioning surface for livestock, giving them firmer footing and minimizing the risk of injury and stress on joints. It’s also quieter for livestock when entering the trailer, will increase the value and life of the stock trailer due to its durability and is UV and water resistant. Rumber flooring is made 100% from recycled tire rubber and plastics.

Another new flooring option, Featherlite’s Firm-mat, completely seals the trailer’s floor and provides a padded, slip resistant surface that is impervious to liquids and eliminates the need for rubber mats. It’s also easy to clean and quieter for livestock when loading. A textured industrial liner designed for livestock or a 1/2” thick textured option, popular in horse trailers, is available.

Other new options for 2012 stock trailers include:

• Camera and rear motion sensor – The introduction of a camera and rear motion sensor makes maneuvering a trailer and backing up easier and safer for the driver. This option operates similar to what is found on selected vehicles by alerting you when the rear of the trailer is near an object or person.

• Aluminum wheels – Stylish aluminum wheels in dark gray or silver are optional on Featherlite trailers.

• Back Lit Feather – An optional back lit feather is available on the front of Featherlite trailers, making the recognizable feather stand out even more going down the road.

• EZ Connector – The EZ Connector’s electrical connection system ensures a reliable connection so that lights and brakes will work each time regardless of the conditions. This high-tech plug for vehicles and trailers is magnetically attached, corrosion free and waterproof with a no-fail breakaway feature and lifetime limited warranty.
