LEARNING OPPORTUNITY: The PDPW Dairy Insights Summit will be held Dec. 5 at the Sheraton Hotel in Madison, Wis.

The past few years have seen a whirlwind of economic, trade and regulatory policy issues that have impacted international markets and producers in the dairy industry. Understanding changing markets, regulations and consumer trends can make a world of difference when it comes to managing your business in these unpredictable times.

The PDPW Dairy Insights Summit will be held Dec. 5 at the Sheraton Hotel in Madison, Wis. The event will draw together key stakeholders from dairy farming, agribusiness, food companies, policymakers and others invested in agriculture to better understand the complexities that impact the dairy industry, food system and consumer perceptions.

The summit will touch on topics including Wisconsin water, zoonotic diseases and understanding the dynamics of tuberculosis, and the complexity of our food system and tracking it with technologies such as blockchain.

“We’re looking forward to a day packed with top-notch speakers and perspectives on some of the most important topics for our state’s farmers, economy and communities,” says Cassandra Strupp, program manager of Professional Dairy Producers.
