Corn harvest
The corn harvest is right on target. The crop progress report shows 63% of the corn crop has been harvested. That’s right on par with the four-year average of 63%. It’s pretty evident, the wet field conditions have slowed the progress down. Last week, the report showed 49% had been taken off the fields.
Soybean harvest
The soybean harvest is beginning to catch up. The crop progress report shows 72% of the crop has been harvested. However, it’s behind the four-year average of 81%.
