Kirk Gilkey of Corcoran, Calif., is the new president of the National Cotton Ginners Association.

He was selected recently at the organization’s annual meeting in Memphis, Tenn.

Gllkey is a long time director of the California Cotton Ginners Association where he served as chairman in 1996. He was named California’s “Ginner of the Year” in 2000.

He is manager and partner of Cross Creek Ginning Co., a modern saw/roller combo gin in Corcoran. He is also a family partner in Gilkey Farms, a large diversified farming operation in the Corcoran area.
