Photos: Huge feral pig killed in Mississippi corn field

When a wild pig began ripping up corn fields at Due West Farms, Glendora, Miss., farm manager Larry Smith and ag consultant Michael Mims took five hunting dogs into the fields and came out with a hog of massive proportions. A backhoe was required just to carry the hog to Smith’s farm shop for cleaning. “I didn’t weigh it, but it was 48 inches tall standing hoof to back. On the conservative side, I’m gonna guess the pig weighed at least 700 pounds. When we cut his head off it took two men just to pick it up.”

See Giant feral pig killed by Mississippi farmers for the complete story on the massive hog.
