Evaluating Corn Rootworm Damage

Jeff Housman, district agronomist, Mycogen, spoke to CSD Editor Kurt Lawton at a recent root dig event in Iowa. Here, Housman evaluates corn rootworm damage on non-Bt checkstrips and stacked hybrids. He says that having that non-Bt checkstrip is good for a baseline evaluation.

See another video with Housman where he talks about digging and scouting for rootworm damage.
