The Philip and Lisa Volk family of York, N.D., are going to be part of a U.S. Wheat Associates promotional video.

The video is about the people who contribute to the wholesome quality of U.S. wheat for dozens of different food products around the world. The promotion features farmers from several other states and is expected to be completed in 2020.

Philip is currently serving a four-year term on the North Dakota Wheat Commission and represents NDWC as a director of U.S. Wheat Associates, a checkoff group that works to maintain and grow markets for U.S. wheat.

In 2019, Philip and three other farmers representing USW visited milling and wheat foods industries in the Philippines and Indonesia, both major destinations for the hard red spring wheat that Volk Farms produces.
