The new Kubota Grand X line of tractors gets a new cab, along with a new interim Tier 4 engine. There are four models in this end of the lineup - all with that spacious cab. Models range from the M100GX at 100 engine horsepower to the top of the line M135GX with 135 hp. And the engines for this series are changed too.
Kubota is rolling out the Grand X line of mid-size tractors in four models. The lineup gets a new, wider more spacious cab, and a 24F/24R powershift transmission.
All engines for the new Grand X series are common rail diesel engines that use exhaust gas recirculation and a diesel particulate filter to control emissions. The common rail design allows for enhanced combustion and a better sound profile. The M100GX and M110GX are powered by a Kubota V3800 engine. The M126GX and M135GX are powered by the V6108 6.1 liter four-cylinder engine.
The new 24F/24R Intelli-Shift transmission has an eight-speed dual-range powershift for 24 gears forward and reverse., a hydraulic shuttle and wet main clutch are standard.
Two other M Series machines have also been introduced, separate from the Grand X line. The M8560 at 85 hp and the M9960 at 100 hp get a newly designed low emission engine as well. The machines are available in two- and four-wheel drive with hydraulic shuttle standard and three transmission options. Cabs in this line have been revamped for improved visibility as well.
Base list price for the M135GX is about $81,000.
