Weather impacts on Planting, Crops: May 14-18

The weather has held up in many regions for #plant 18, but will it continue?

All eyes are on the weather as #plant18 begins to wind down. So far, the weather has held out in most areas for farmers to get a lot of the field work completed. However, there is a portion of Wisconsin and small part of Iowa that remains very wet. The good news is that the temperatures have finally warmed up and the soil is warm enough to plant even in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The question is now, will the weather hold out or will there be a break in this year's planting due to rainy weather. Check out this week's gallery to see how drought conditions have changed over the past two weeks.
