AGCO’s new Fendt 800 series, which won a tractor of the year award in Europe, is coming to America this spring. The five new models in the new series range from 165 to 245 PTO hp and cost from $187,000 to $240,000. The new tractors feature an antilock braking systems (ABS), Interim Tier 4-compliant engine, and an ergonomically designed armrest with all the tractor controls on it. A 10.4-in. touch-screen terminal sits on the armrest to handle all functions — from tractor and implement operations to cameras and guidance. The terminal may show four applications at once or just one.
