An automation and robotics demonstration will be held Oct. 25 at the University of Arizona research farm in Yuma. The event runs from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Weed control and thinning demonstrations will be provided by more than 15 companies. This is the third-annual event hosted by the University of Arizona.
Companies signed up to attend include: KULT Kress, Stout, FarmWise, Naio Technologies, Vision Robotics, Padma Agrobotics, Agmectronix, Cypress Agritech, Carbon Robotics, and Nexus Robotics.
The Yuma Agricultural Center is located at 6425 W 8th St., Yuma. Continuing education credits are approved from the Arizona Department of Agriculture. California Department of Pesticide Regulation credits are pending.
