Topcon is adding a high-torque electric steering system – the AES-35 – to offer hydraulic performance with electric convenience to produce accurate steering for a wide range of vehicles. This unit is designed for non-steer ready and other specialty vehicles. It is a ruggedized, weatherproof system capable of installation on in-cab and open-platform, non-cab environments – a key feature of the new product.

Like it's sibling AES-25 – the AES-35 – has a high-torque electric motor that can operate in both forward and reverse to produce autosteering at all levels of accuracy when used with the Topcon AGI-4 GNSS receiver/steering controller. The AES-35 can even operate with RTK positioning accuracy, providing autosteering performance to 2 cm. It is capable of operating with steer angle sensors sometimes required for high-accuracy repeatability.

The system is compatible with a wide range of equipment including tractors, sprayers, spreaders, swathers and combines. You can learn more by visiting topconpositioning.com/agriculture.
