Here's how traders get ready for report day

It’s report day for the grain market, when USDA releases its much-anticipated August crop estimates at 11 a.m. CDT. Traders prepared for surprises Thursday by adding tens of thousands of options, and there was also heavy trade in wheat. The market expects some bullish numbers for soybeans, with a big corn crop building inventories.
