Corn unchanged, soybeans lower, ahead of heat wave

Weekend rain in Midwest may help crop ahead of heat. (audio)

Corn futures are about unchanged near midday, while soybeans are lower as traders await this week’s hot weather.
Highs of 100 degrees or more are forecast for Nebraska, while highs in the 90s should occur elsewhere in the Midwest.
Crop condition ratings due later on Monday are expected to be about unchanged from a week ago.
