Corn lower as rain falls in the Midwest

Soybeans inch higher, wheat is mixed ahead of British vote. (audio)

Widespread rain in the Midwest overnight pressured corn futures on Thursday and limited gains in soybeans. More rain is forecast for the eastern Midwest on Thursday. Investors in all markets await results of today’s vote in Britain as to whether it stays with the European Union.
Equity markets are higher amid ideas Britain will remain part of the EU.
