Brexit surprise, weather roils markets

Britons voted to leave the Europe Union on Thursday, sending shock waves around the world. Investors rushed to sell risky assets, piling into gold, the dollar and Treasuries as the Euro and British pound crumbled in the wake of “Brexit.” Grain markets, which have already been battered this week by improving forecasts for rain, got a double dose of bearishness, sending futures lower across the board.
