“Making efforts to improve water quality in Lake Erie and surrounding waterways continues to be a priority for many ag organizations in Ohio,” says Chris Henney, president and CEO of OABA. “This event will feature guest speakers as well as field demonstrations that will highlight practices that can improve water quality.”

The free field day for retailers, farmers and other interested parties will take place July 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with an hour lunch break, at the farm of Terry McClure, 21460 Road 48, Grover Hill. Companies are encouraged to bring their customers with them to the event.

The program will feature Dr. Libby Dayton from The Ohio State University and Martha Winters from Purdue University, as well as a field demonstration with a SoilWarrior strip till system. Continuing Education Credits are available for Certified Crop Advisers in attendance.
